Release + Restore: Legs & Hips with Lauren Brown

Fascia gives our bodies their structural shape and surrounds our muscles, organs, and bones. Traditionally we think of muscles & bones holding us together, but it’s actually the fascia so it’s quite strong & highly adaptable to our habits. By releasing fascial restrictions, we can alleviate deep-seated chronic pain caused by trauma, sports injuries and repetitive strain, as well as prevent injuries and increase muscle performance.

In this workshop series, we will look at ways to apply myofascial release & functional mobility practices to work with areas of tension, pain, restricted movement, or performance enhancement. We’ll cover protocols for the back, shoulders, legs, & hips so that you leave with a simple but effective knowledge of self-myofascial release and how to apply it on your own.
